Where our best dancers hang out!
Our Open Technique class is designed for dancers of all experience levels who want to build, refine, and strengthen their technical foundation. This class focuses on proper alignment, control, strength, flexibility, and movement quality through a structured and progressive class format.
Each class begins with a thorough warm-up to prepare the body, improve mobility, and prevent injury. Dancers will then work through technique-based exercises that may include turns, jumps, footwork, balance, and coordination, with layered options provided so dancers can challenge themselves at an appropriate level. Across-the-floor progressions and center work help dancers apply technique in traveling movement and short combinations.
Rather than focusing on lengthy choreography, this class emphasizes understanding how the body moves, developing clean execution, and building confidence in foundational skills. Instructors offer clear guidance and corrections, encouraging dancers to work at their own pace in a supportive, open environment. Open Technique is ideal for beginners looking to develop strong fundamentals, experienced dancers maintaining their technique, or anyone returning to dance and wanting to move with strength and intention.
Open Class Technique class is $104
