Casting & Auditions
Be seen on the stage and screen
Adelaide Theatre Academy has valuable contacts in the television, theatre and music industry and over the years, we have found work for hundreds of our enthusiastic young performers!
Many talented Theatre Bugs and Adelaide Theatre Academy students of all ages (the youngest being a newborn baby and the eldest being a ‘Theatre Bugs’ Dad) have gained work through us in t.v, film, catalogues and stage musicals/plays.

WINDMILL THEATRE COMPANY
Little Board
The Board of a company is a group of individuals appointed to oversee the organization’s activities and represent the interests of its shareholders. As a company making work for young people, we thought it timely to give them a seat the table.
The Little Board is a group of smart, creative and powerful young people who, in weekly sessions from the Windmill office, explore art and theatre making, how productions come together, and how to consider art as activism, guided by Windmill staff, artists, creatives and the Big Board (henceforth named).
This is a totally free, weekly, unique extracurricular activity for young people looking for something a bit different. Those who love to be creative and explore new ways of thinking and making.
Sessions will run every Thursday from 4.30 – 6pm (excludes last week of term and school holidays) from our offices on Level 2/39, Light Square, Adelaide SA 5000.
Open to South Australian residents from Year Levels 5-10. For more information and to apply please head to https://www.windmill.org.au/education/littleboard/

Peace of Mind
Your safety and well being is as important to us as it is to you. Our teachers genuinely CARE about their students. All teachers hold First Aid certificates, Police Clearances and receive ongoing training, mentoring and support.

Skills for Life
You will learn to trust your own ideas, develop perseverance, empathy, teamwork, to feel confident in your own ability and develop the confidence you need to tackle the challenging situations you are confronted with in life.

Non-Competitive Environment
We strive to make you feel proud of your personal achievements. You are supported to develop at your own pace without the pressure of exams and competitions.

Unforgettable Experiences
You will participate in at least two performances each year which often involve sets, lights and costumes. Students are often invited to participate in events such as TV work, charity concerts, Fringe events, Christmas pageants and more!

We Understand Families
We know you are busy so we don't expect you to sew costumes. We know you need to budget, so we don’t charge for regular ‘in house’ performances. We know that family is really important so we invite all of family to attend performances.
