Emma

Teacher

Emma is an experienced performer, and has been involved in the industry since a very young age. Theatre has always been one of her passions, and from an early age, she has been developing the skills of discipline and dedication. As a trained dancer in jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and musical theatre, Emma is able to apply her skills into an encouraging teaching environment.

As well as being trained by an extensive range of professionals in the field, Emma has competed in a range of national and regional dance competitions, acquiring successful outcomes all around. She has also performed in many of Theatre Bugs and Adelaide Theatre Academy’s productions over the course of her time as a student.

After being elected as Performing Arts Leader at her school, Emma began teaching drama and dance to younger students, sharing her love of the performing arts to new groups of young people. She is excited to impart her passion for the arts with students at Theatre Bugs.

Emma is the first of the Student Development Teaching Program at Theatre Bugs and Adelaide Theatre Academy, to graduate to teaching classes of her own.
