Acting, singing and dancing for teenagers

The Senior Musical Theatre students focus on the three disciplines of theatre: dance (co-ordination, technique, jazz routines), singing (pitch, projection, rhythm) and acting (characterisation, mime, voice projection). Each week students will focus on two of the three disciplines in deeper detail, allowing time for proper warm-up, technique and performance development- the disciplines will rotate during the term to ensure appropriate time is allocate to each. This work will culminate at a mid-year and end of year performance, where students perform one major number (scene that leads into song and dance) and one strong discipline scene as chosen by the teacher working to the class’ strength.

Combo students will often continue into this class once they reach 12yrs of age.

$275 per term (2024 prices)
($35 ATA uniform shirt added to initial invoice. A Production Levy will apply in Term 4 for the End of Year Production)
