Teacher

Olivia has been a member of Theatre Bugs and Adelaide Theatre Academy, as a student for 11 years. She has been a member of the Performances classes for 5 years and has performed in numerous musicals. Some highlights include Mrs Sowerberry and dance captain in Oliver, as a part of the Adelaide fringe and General Bellows in Doctor Dolittle. Olivia also has been the Assistant Choreographer for Porridge the Musical (Something on Saturday) as well as Oliver and Mary Poppins (Adelaide Fringe).

As well as being trained in musical theatre, Olivia has competed in a range of dance competitions in jazz, tap, hip hop lyrical and pom, on a national and international level. In 2021 her Pom team placed 4th in virtual dance worlds.

Olivia has been part of the Theatre Bugs Teacher Development Program since its inception, assisting in over 10 classes and being mentored by 5 different teachers. She has learnt valuable lessons during this time in teaching and choreography, culminating in teaching her own classes at Theatre Bugs.

Olivia is excited to begin this new journey of sharing her love of musical theatre with her students.
