Advanced Classes for Advanced Performers
Audition only class for experienced Theatre Bugs/Adelaide Theatre Academy performers. Auditions take place as required during the year, but typically will occur at the end or beginning of a year prior to Term 1 enrolment. The format of how our students are invited to audition depends on the number of vacancies we have to offer.
Performance Troupe receive advanced training and perform in our premier public performances. Productions have included High School Musical, The Little Mermaid, Singin' In The Rain, Beauty & The Beast and Little Shop of Horrors. Performance Troupe are invited to perform on ABC’s Behind The News, Fringe events, Peter Combe concerts and the Christmas Pageant.
Our 3 performance classes are Performance Troupe, Curtain Calls, and Showstoppers. Students can progress in this order through the classes once they can demonstrate to the teachers their ability to keep up with the advanced content of each individual level. Progression is not age-based.
