Mim’s performance debut occurred in 2000 when, as a 6 year old armed with a hideous red wig and unshakable enthusiasm, she graced the stage in the title role of Annie at none other than Theatre Bugs, Norwood. The wig may be gone, but the passion certainly is not, and Mim is excited to be bringing things full circle by sharing her love of music and theatre with Theatre Bugs students. Mim graduated from Pembroke School in 2012 as Deputy Head Girl with colours in Music and Drama and the award for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts, and is now studying Law and French at the University of Adelaide. She continues to be involved in community theatre, having performed in Legally Blonde with the Hills Musical Company and Little Women with Therry Dramatic Society. In 2013 she was awarded music, dance and academic scholarships to study at Graceland University, USA, where she was heavily involved in the arts programs, playing Audrey in the homecoming musical Little Shop of Horrors.
Mim loves working with children of all ages, and aims to promote team building, respectful behaviour and enthusiasm in her classes – values that were once instilled in her as a student at Theatre Bugs.
